EDOUARD R. DAHER
M.D.
Dr. Daher has special interests in
vascular disease, specifically
percutaneous revascularization of
lower extremities, renal artery stenting
and carotid artery stenting. He has
authored numerous papers on imaging
of the heart in the basic and clinical
arena. He played a leading role in
nuclear cardiology and was the
President of the ASNC Chapter for
Michigan. He was also the Chief of
Cardiology at the Detroit VA Medical
Center. He chaired numerous sessions
and presented at national and
international meetings. He received
the Young Investigator Award at the
International Nuclear Cardiology
Meeting in Italy. He was involved in
multiple clinical trials involving
imaging of the heart and treatment of
cardiovascular diseases. He is certified
in Nuclear Cardiology Vascular Medicine.
Dr. Daher completed training in
Cardiology at Yale New Haven Hospital,
Vascular Medicine at St. Elizabeth Med.
Ctr., Boston and Interventional Cardiology
at New England Med. Ctr. in Boston.
THOMAS P. DAVIS
M.D.
Dr. Thomas Davis is the Director of
Eastlake Cardiovascular OBL in
Roseville, Michigan. Dr. Davis
specializes in structural heart
procedures, peripheral arterial disease
and non-surgical limb salvage. He is a
pioneer in lower extremity arterial
disease using atherectomy as well as
carotid arterial stenting. Dr. Davis
participates on several research trials
and on scientific advisory boards for
interventional device deployment and
endovascular therapies. Dr. Davis is on
the board of New Cardiovascular
Horizons and Amputation Prevention
Symposium, which he gives lectures
across the country and navigates
innovations to ensure top quality
patient care.
Dr. Davis received his medical degree
from St. George's University in Grenada,
and he completed his residency in
internal medicine, cardiology and
interventional cardiology at Henry Ford
Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Davis is board
certified through the American Board of
Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular
Diseases and Interventional Cardiology.
TERRY R. BOWERS
M.D.
Terry R. Bowers, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.V.M.
is certified by the American Board of
Internal Medicine and its subspecialty
board of Cardiovascular Disease. A
graduate of the University of Michigan
Medical School, Dr. Bowers completed
his internal medicine residency at the
University of Minnesota Hospitals in
Minneapolis. He completed his
cardiovascular disease and
interventional cardiology fellowship at
William Beaumont Hospital- Royal Oak,
where he served as Chief Cardiology
Fellow in his last year. In addition, he
completed a peripheral interventional
and vascular medicine fellowship at the
Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.
Dr. Bowers is a fellow of both the
American College of Cardiology and
the Society of Vascular Medicine and
Biology. He is a member of the Oakland
County Medical Society, Michigan State
Medical Society and the American Heart
Association.
Active in cardiology research, Dr.
Bowers has made national presentations
and has been widely published in
medical literature. He is the Director of
Vascular Medicine, Beaumont Hospitals
and holds the academic appointment
of Assistant Professor at Oakland
University William Beaumont School of
Medicine. He is on staff at William
Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and
Troy. Dr. Bowers practices at Michigan
Heart Group- Troy and Macomb.

GEORGE NAHHAS

Dr. Nahhas has been a practicing
Interventional Cardiologists,
specializing in Cardiac and Vascular
Disease, in the state of Michigan since
1998. He is a certified physician in
Vascular interpretation and a
diplomat in Venous and Lymphatic
disease. Board certified by the
American Board of Internal Medicine in
Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear
Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Disease,
Dr. Nahhas is at the top of his field.
By completing his Medical School
training at Damascus University
School of Medicine in Syria, he is
proud to have graduated in the top
10% of the 1988 graduating class.
He went on to complete his Externship
at the Medical College of Wisconsin in
the Cardiology department and was an
intern at Marshfield Clinic (St. Joseph
hospital) department of Internal
Medicine, in Marcheld, Wisconsin.
Dr. Nahhas was also resident at
William Beaumont hospital (Department
of Internal Medicine) in Royal Oak,
Michigan and completed his Cardiology
fellowship at Brown University in
Providence, Rhode Island an Ivy
League school.
Actively involved in his community, Dr.
Nahhas is a member of the Michigan

Today. Nahhas is a physician at the
Michigan Outpatient Vascular Institute
in Dearborn, Michigan. He is the Chief
of Cardiology at William Beaumont
Hospital, along with the Catheterization
Lab Director for the Cardiology
Fellowship at William Beaumont
Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan. He
prides himself in providing the upmost

DOUGLAS J.
WUNDERLY

Dr. Wunderly grew up in Kalamazoo
where he graduated from Comstock
High School and went on to be a cum
laude graduate of Kalamazoo College.
He graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from
Wayne State University School of
Medicine in Detroit, Mich. He
completed his residency in internal
medicine at Michigan State University
(MSU)/Kalamazoo Center for Medical
Studies (KCMS) and a cardiology
fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in
Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Wunderly is board
certified in cardiovascular disease and
interventional cardiology. He is the
medical director of cardiology at
Bronson Methodist Hospital. His wife
Jacqueline is a gynecologist and they
have three boys.
MARK A. ZAINEA

Dr. Mark A. Zainea is a cardiologist in
Shelby Township, Michigan and is
affiliated with multiple hospitals in
the area. He received his medical
degree from Wayne State University
School of Medicine and has been in
practice for more than 20 years.
As the President and Chief Medical
Officer of Cardiology Associates of
Michigan, P.C, Dr. Mark Zainea has
seen the practice grow from a solo
practitioner with three employees to a
single specialty group of seven
physicians, a certified physician
assistant, and approximately 25
employees in three offices in both
Macomb and St. Clair counties. Dr.
Zainea was born and educated in

AMIR KAKI

Dr. Amir Kaki is the Director of
Mechanical Circulatory Support and
Complex PCI at Ascension St John
Hospital in Detroit, MI. He is also an
Associate Director of Interventional
Cardiology at St John and an Associate
Prof of Medicine at Wayne State
University School of Medicine.
Dr. Kaki arrived in Detroit in 2012 from
New York City where he was Assistant

IMRAAN ANSAARIE

Dr. Ansaarie, is a board certified Interventional cardiologist and endovascular specialist. He started his medical career by finishing his residency in one of the most influential institutes of United States at University of Chicago. He then moved into critical care training at RUSH university medical center & Cook county hospital where he spent two years in taking care of level I trauma, high risk OB/GYN and high risk neurosurgical patients. He then advanced to cardiovascular disease fellowship at combined program of Cook County hospital & RUSH University, where he further enhanced his skills in echocardiogram and Interventional cardiology. After finishing at these prestigious institutions in the city of Chicago, he moved to the famous and most recognized institution for Interventional cardiology & endovascular procedures at St. Luke’s-Aurora medical center, in Milwaukee, where the nation’s top 3 interventional procedures are performed.
After finishing 11 years of post-graduate
training, he moved into a multi-
specialty group of 100 physicians &
surgeons as a Interventional and
Endovascular physician. Here he
served as the Department chair
for medical specialties as well as
the board member for IDP. He was
also the first and the youngest vice
chair of department of cardiovascular
services at memorial hospital of South
Bend. He helped in pioneering the
Endo-vascular program for a small
community in Goshen, part of Indiana
University, as well as built an
Endovascular AAA program at St
Joseph, Mishawka, part of the Trinity
Health. He then started looking all
over the country to build up a
comprehensive world class
Cardio-vascular program for an
underserved rural community, and he
chose Putnam County. He has been
here in Putnam community since 2014,
intensely working with an integrated

program buildup, Dr. Ansaarie has
