This bill requires a person
that establishes or operates
a specialized laboratory under
CMS site of service 11 to register with
the Department of Health and
Human Services or pay a fine.

BILL 4502:
If the centers for Medicare and
Medicaid services has approved a
current procedural terminology code
for cardiac cathprocedures to be done
as an outpatient service, House Bill
4502 would allow those cardiac cath
procedures to be done in an outpatient
facility.

committee and should have a hearing
in a few weeks / Spring 2021 – to – As
of October 5, 2021 – HB 4502 is still in
committee awaiting a hearing in the
House Health Policy Committee.
